MEET THE PROJECT WAVES TEAM.

Project Waves team members are dedicated to providing Internet service to those who need it most across Baltimore City. Our staff is focused on meeting network members where they are in order to ensure they have the resources and support needed to become and remain stable.

Founder

Adam Bouhmad founded Project Waves in 2018 as a direct response to the Trump FCC's repeal of Net Neutrality. After growing the network to 140 members, Adam is taking a leave of absence to pursue advocacy and policy making that will close connectivity and affordability gaps across the United States.

Director

Sam joined the Project Waves team as Head of Operations and now serves as Director. With more than 10 years experience serving in the Baltimore non-profit sector, Sam understands the intersectionality of the Digital Divide.

Director of Engineering

Devin oversees Waves network operation and innovation. He has 7 years of experience working in the cloud, data center, and managed service provider environment where he initially served in a client-facing support role before moving to a network engineering role. He holds industry certifications such as CCNA and JNCIS, and has made efforts to begin an Internet exchange point in Baltimore.

Customer Support Specialist

Yessenia has more than 20 years of experience working in the non-profit industry serving diverse populations focusing on case management, and social service. As the bilingual customer support specialist, Yessenia interacts with diverse community members to ensure their needs are being met.
